A plan suggests am attempt to control.
A plan may not be possible or we are having expectations. "the best made plans" and all that.
"The cosmos" "drama" "god" however is another matter, but may not be our concern. Perhaps that is where "faith" comes in, and simply flowing with it. We know that the new world will come, is more or less here, bar the old fossils and skelitons that are still lurking around like dinosaur bones. I presume they will be swept aside to make way for the new.

No one I speak to seems to have a plan.
do we need a plan? or do we just need to learn the first principles of our true spiritual nature, and learn how base our behavior on these principles? A plan suggests am attempt to control. Maybe we just need to learn to let life flow, and to be flexible in our reactions?
so caught up in.. fear, a state of mind which is not natural to the human soul

Would it be fair to say that the pyramid of sorrow is at its weakest at the top stone? Take the top stone away and the whole thing could cave in. Also, a pyramid is one corner short of a square and may be less stable.
And, I take back those crutch comparisons in my last post, the control freak pyramid is perhaps more like a zimmer frame for those who's time is close. A system which has ran its course.
With regards to leaders, I am not convinced that there is 'no need for them at all'. Realistically, there may be a need for leaders who can be an example and lead the many from their berths on the rigid pyramid. We all need to learn how to live and love all over again. How to be free without the need to be policed and told what to do, controlled and bullied.

No one I speak to seems to have a plan. They are so caught up in the distractions being created by those who wish to cause fear, a state of mind which is not natural to the human soul. Nor is taking life serious, otherwise, taking life serious would be a self generating, self replenishing thing, bringing vitality to the worrier or even much farther into the positive still. Bliss. Yet, parents and self imposing authorities get scared at the thought of us not taking life serious in case the world falls apart. Meanwhile, it seems to be falling apart because people ARE taking it too serious. 'If you don't take life seriously, you cannot be serious about life' sort of thing. If we are serious about life, we will approach it in a light way, though there is no self respect in allowing others to walk all over us in a totalitarian way.

are we obliged to take life so seriously
I say we are not - indeed, we are, as souls, incarnated in these bodies in order to experience life - its ups and its downs - but we should experience it as a game we are playing.
A change of world leadership would make a huge difference only if a suitable leader could be found! Actually I suspect we are moving away from the pyramid structured society that makes leaders powerful and necessary - the leaders no longer have much influence on the machine - their controls don't really work any more - they can only pretend to be leading us, when in fact they are just reacting to events, and being forced to go with the flow. We are reaching the final stages of entropy - order descends to chaos, and people are taking power back into their own hands - individuals, families, communities, these are the future - authoritarian structures, and the control freakery they foster, are past their sell-by date.
